Louis Frandsen Obituary

Frandsen Jr., Louis Died peacefully on March 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, MaryAnn. Loving father of Kenneth (Miriam Cohen), Gregory (Cynthia), Dawn (Kendall Schmidt); proud and cherished grandfather of Selena and Jacob. Lou attended Morton H.S., joined the Signal Corps and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War, and traveled extensively in his career as a steel salesman. He was a pack leader for Cub Scouts, a member of the Lions Club, proudly cofounded Team LaGrange Soccer Club and is fondly remembered by his players as "Uncle Lou." Lou loved dining with friends and family, vacationing in Hilton Head and Door County and relaxing in his yard. He had a quick wit and loved to laugh. Loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, friend and neighbor. Lou will be greatly missed. Visitation 1:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday. Interment Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park. Funeral info 708-352-6500.
