Louis Dunigan Obituary

Dunigan, Louis Louis J Dunigan, age 94, of Dallas, TX passed away peacefully on October 14, 2011 at his home. Lou was born on May 10, 1917 in Glendive, Montana to Charles and Eva Dunigan. He married Bettygene in Alexander, Louisiana on June 4, 1944 and they had 2 children, Betty Lou and Dan. Lou attended the University of Wyoming and served as a Captain in the Air Force, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and four bronze metals. He retired from Sears & Roebuck after 25 years of service. Lou enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, fishing and dancing, and being with his family was his favorite pastime. Lou will be lovely remembered by his wife of 67 years and by their children, Betty Lou and Dan, and their spouses, Chip and Vicki; by grandchildren Dan, Darin, Shelli and Sean, and their spouses, Debra, Tabatha, Brett, and Kristen; and by great-grandchildren, Layne, Leah, Luke, and Ethan. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30pm Monday, October 17, 2011 in Restland Wildwood Chapel.
