Boress, Louis beloved son of the late Rose; loving husband of the late Rita; cherished father of Allan (Christine); adored Grandfather of Jonathan (Claudia) and Chloe; Dear brother of Julius and the late Joseph, Freida, and Hy. Former owner of Monitor Cleaners and proud member of the Oddfellows. Chapel service Monday 10 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Please call for shiva information. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Dora Bible School, 301 West 13th Ave, Mount Dora, FL, 32757. To the Boress family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It brought such sadness to hear of his passing. Lou was such a jolly man. He gave me my first job at 14 at Monitor cleaners/formal wear and passed on his Cutlass when I received my driver's license! My mother also worked for him. He did a lot to help us and just wanted to let everyone know what a great man he was.
