Lorraine was a dear friend of my Aunt Ruth Carlson who passed in January.
I will always cherish her friendship with Ruth and her dear notes to me. She and Ruth are telling each other stories and giggling like children again. Much love and sympathy to her family.

I know how much you valued your parents (grandparents) and how difficult these last few years have been as the landscape has changed leaving you and Janet to carry on in their tradition. You were the best Mom a son could have. I will miss you and your smile. I will miss hearing your laugh. I will miss hugging you and seeing you with Mary, Tom, Mike and Emily--how your grandkids loved you. You truly were a great mom and example of how a parent should be. You were always there for Jan, me and the kids. I love you Mom
