Loring J. Bishop, 69, a 39-year resident of Swampscott, Massachusetts, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, Swampscott Post Office, died on Saturday, March 17, 2001, following a lengthy illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2001, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, Massachusetts. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 21, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Pius V Church.
