To Steven and family:
I remember the sadness of a parent passing. And I remember the warm welcome your mom always had for us kids on the Hoyne block. My thoughts and heart are with you right now. I hope these days of mourning are also days of celebration for the life of a wonderful woman.
Steven, it was such a joy to see you at Christmas and spend time with our family of friends at the lake. A picture of you and me sits at my desk at work. Great smiles. . . .

To Steve and all the Smith Family-
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was great to me. For many years i spoke to her most days-usually when calling her house to hassle Steve or over at Dineen's. She was great to all Steve's friends and a distinguished citizen of the infamous Hoyne Ave.

My family's thoughts and prayers extend to Steven and his family with the passing of his Mom. My memories of her were a smiling face, a kindness in her voice, and the natural ability to make you feel welcome in their home. She was a really nice lady.
