Mom was the main planner for all the wonderful events the family had. It won't be the same without her wonderful smiling face and disposition. Her ethics, morals and faith in God was an inspiration to us all. God bless her always!

I started at Oakton Community College in 1986 as a full-time staff and Lois was always so friendly and great to talk to. My deepest sympathy goes out to all her family and friends, especially those I do not get to see from the Oakton family.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed my hour long talks with mrs. downs. funny thing she has been on my mind for the last week and I wanted to call her several times. I thought she would be disappointed in me for not being with billy. but my health still prevented me from doing that. I wanted to tell her that and procrastinated. too long, obviously. I sure will miss you lois. you are and forever will be in my heart. and jerrys too.
