Erikson Jr., Lloyd Raymond "Eric" age 58, of Crown Point, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2005, Lloyd was a graduate of Thornridge High School in Dolton, IL, Class of 1964. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, U.S. Navy; Helicopter Crew Chief. He was retired from ELG Metals in Chicago, where he worked as GM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Raymond Erikson Sr. and Dorothy Erikson. He is survived by one son, Lloyd Raymond (Jennifer) Erikson III of Louisiana, three daughters, Kelly (Dave) Langston of Louisiana, Lisa (Travis) West of Louisiana and Lindsey Erikson of Florida, also three sisters, Janet (Joe) Jones of Schererville, Dottie (Jim) Machura of Cedar Lake and Linda (Bill) Barnes of Kalamazoo, MI, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Eric had a great love of life. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially boating. He was fun to be with and loved the camaraderie of his many friends. He will be missed. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 1st, at 10 a.m., at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway in Crown Point. Rev. Robert C. Breitbarth officiating. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, July 31st, at Burns, from 2 to 8 p.m.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Erik and I were both very young when we met, our time together was brief he was a very energetic ,loved life,a very intense person,Iam sure God has a place fom him in heaven....
