Dear DeSimone Family,
My deepest condolence, very sorry for your loss.

January 8, 2012

Dear Jerry and Family,
My heart aches as yours does. Linda was my friend since 1st grade,we even shared the same birthday, thoughout the years we became best friends. We took our first vacations together away from our families and I was your maid of honor at your wedding. When I moved across the country, our friendship remained. She was always upbeat and never complained over the past nine years during her battle with canacer. Jerry, you are the most devoted husband and caregiver any woman could ask for. I am so happy that she had her two sisters were there to help you. I will miss our phone conversations and e-mails. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend your Celebration of Life with all of you, but know I will forever celebrate her. My God give us peace knowing she is in heaven and with her wonderful mother, Tillie. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Love, Paula (Suwanski) Burton

I will miss Linda dearly especially at Sunday dinners. I know we will carry on but the conversations will not be quite as stimulating without her. Even in her illness she was there for me during mine. I've known her most of my life and she was always very passionate about injustice in any form which is why the conversations were so exciting. As she prepared to leave, I watched the love surround her - the tireless care of her husband, sons, daughter-in-law and sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. The love she gave was returned ten-fold. We will miss you greatly.

I was just a friend of cousin Sandy Perryman's, yet Linda treated my husband & me like family. Year after year, we always felt 'at home'during the beautiful New Year's Eve parties that Linda coordinated for everyone at the Como Inn. She was always friendly and fun. She'll be missed by all.

Dear Jerry and Family:
My deepest sympathy is with all of you. Linda always held a special place in my heart even though we had miles between us. Growing up, she was my best girlfriend and remained a true friend throughout the years. I have so many fond memories of her, as I know all of you do. She is now resting with the two Tillies that we knew (her mother and my sister). May she rest in peace now. I will miss the special friendship we had. She showed such strength and dignity throughout her battle. I feel honored to have been part of her life. May God bless her.

Dear Maryann,
I am thinking of you & praying for you. Growing up together we spent so many days together. As kids & then adults for the past 54 years. We looked up to Linda as all of our big sister. She was truly the beauty of our neighborhood inside & out. I know the pain of losing a sibling. Memories are part of what life is all about. As our family & yours we have made many of then. Please if there is anything I can do to help, please call me. I Love you my dearest friend & I know our sisters have already hooked up in heaven.
Linda give a kiss to my sister Angelica as your friendship continues now in heaven.
