Mrs. Cohen was my 3rd, 4th and 8th grade teacher at Carpenter school back in the 90's. I can honestly tell you that she really cared for her students as a loving mother. She called us her kids and she taught us about life at an early age.
Jenny and Jessica, I pray that you're both well and just know that you truly had an amazing mom!
May she continue to rest in peace.

Dear Fred, Jenny and Jessica,
What a year! Linda would be so very proud of her family. You made it through the first year with such dignity and grace. I miss her every single day, so I cannot even imagine what it has been like for the Cohen family! I wish you health and happiness and an easier time as the days go by. Your wife and mother was a MOST special person! I will love her and miss her till the day I see her again!

Dear Fred, Jessica and Jenny, As a full year is coming close I can't tell you how many times I picked up that phone to call Linda. She was my conversation everynight on my way home. She was the most positive thing in our lives and so many others. Again what a legacy to leave behind. What a wonderful life she lead and how many people she touched with her kindness and words of widsom. She truthly was a wonderful person and you all should be proud of her, Myself Bobby and Lexi, Staci and Lauren miss her so much.
Love to all of you

Dear Fred
I was thinking about Linda today when she assisted Dr Stuebener, the only female oral surgeon around, in extracting my four impacted wisdom teeth. Not only was Linda super efficient as she was in everything she did, she also became my caretaker. For five days I stayed with her at her parents' place as Linda administered my painkillers, kept a hot water bottle for both sides of my face and forced me to drink milkshakes. I was really in bad shape and no one could have given me better care. I was 21 and Linda was 22. How the years have flown but not the memories! I really miss her. What a caring, intelligent and well-loved human being
I know you are hurting and sweet memories sometimes make us hurt more but they help keep her vividly alive in our hearts
Have a wonderful Fathers Day. After all, she made you a Daddy!
Much love to you, Jenny and Jessica

Dear Fred, Jenny and Jessica,
How she cherished you all! Losing Linda was losing a very dear friend. Since 1970 Linda and I had a special relationship that lasted throughout the years. In college we talked all day, after graduation, everyday and as we "grew up" not as often. But whether I called her or she called me, after over thirty years our conversations would pick up where they ended, perhaps six months to a year prior. She was so proud of all of you. She was a true and loyal friend who asked for little and gave so much in support, laughter and love. Linda was the best teacher, not one of the best teachers, but the best teacher I have ever known. She made her students learn, respect and value life. She made everyone who knew her do the same.I miss her and mourn her tremendously. She was truly a gem, an inspiration and lover of life and all its beauty
With my deepest sympathy and love,
Barbara Selvaggio (Cibelli) and Lauren and Matthew Zivkovic

Fred: Linda was a wonderful person, very upbeat and wouldn't take crap from anyone. I knew her as "Cubs", not for the team, but for her last name. She will be missed but more importantly, remembered.

Dear Fred, Jenny and Jessie,
What a wonderful tribute to your Mom, that she has left a void in so many peoples lives. She was a very special person. Someone to truly admire. What a trouper! She would take one blow after another and talk about how she was "The Luckiest Girl In The World". Her greatest accomplishment was the creation of two talented, creative, caring, nurturing, and beautiful daughters. Her luckiest day was meeting up with "Bear", her best friend and solemate. ("FREEEEEEEEDDD will you rub my back?") And there he was the dutiful hubby, rubbing and rubbing and oh how she loved to get rubbed! How will we get through this? One day at a time! We are in this together and forever! "Romy" will be greatly missed! Love, Shari and Robert
