With deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. A loved one lost can grieve the heart. But God is for us a refuge and strength and a God of all comfort who comforts us during difficult times. May you find the needed strength from God, family and friends. Take courage and have hope.

I came across this posting accidentally (or maybe not). My daughter Meredith passed away 12 years ago when she was 11, she also was my special angel on Earth. Unbelievably life does go on, and the wonderful people who's lives she touched will forever be blessed, until we meet again, God bless and comfort you

My sincerest sympathy to Lilly's family, friends and school staff. I was one of Lilly's early childhood teachers and have many fond memories of her. She was a dynamo of energy and determination in one tiny bundle. I do not believe that she was ever presented with a musical toy she could not find a way to operate. If you, as the adult, could not make it work; just give it to Lilly. Her least favorite time of the school day was the short rest time. Lilly wanted more than a rest. She loved books and interacting with people. She was a sunbeam that shined on and brightened the lives of all who knew her! I was blessed to be one of those people. Heather, Paul and her beloved Charlie, I am so sorry for your loss. I grieve with you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Upchurch family at this difficult time. During Lilly's short life, she faced many challenges; Heather and Paul did everything possible to meet her needs, ensuring that she was well taken care of. She also received lots of love and attention from their extended families in Chicago and Rochester, NY. We hope that Lilly's family will find comfort knowing that she is now one of God's angels and is resting in peace. With our most heartfelt and sincere condolences,

Dearest Paul, Heather, Charlie and all of Lily's extended family,
You were given a gift and a challenge and gave beautiful Lily a wonderful life. She was loved by everyone who met her.
Ellen Brenneman once wrote, "We can't know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight's kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its beauty in a gentler place. But we can know that nothing that is loved is ever lost and no one who has touched a heart can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they've been a part.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and always.
Sincerely,
Doris Edmeier

My thoughts & prayers are with your family during this difficult time. I'm sure she brought many smiles to everyone at Kirk on a daily basis. (Kirk's nurse, Wendy, is my older daughter's "other mother". Michelle also has special needs)
May her memory be for a blessing.
