Lillie Simpson Obituary
Lillie M. Simpson, 77, passed away Friday, July 5, 2002.
She worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. as an executive secretary for 30 years. She was a member of Tallmadge Church of God, where she was a Sunday School teacher, choir mem ber, and board member. Mrs. Simpson was a very kind and loving person.
She was preceded in death by husband, Norman; parents, Lewis and Bessie Kubitza; brother, Ray Kubitza; and sister, Florence Coffman, and is survived by brother-in- law and sister-in-law (caregivers) Clyde and Mary Evelyn Benson; sister-in-law, Ruth Simpson of Washington; sister-in-law, Virginia Lenecta of St. Cloud, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m., Rev. William Wimmer officiating, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.

Lillie was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I really enjoyed taking care of her. She always took the time to notce little things about people and was always cheerful and loving. We'll miss her greatly.

I took care of Lillie at Pebble Creek Nursing Home while she was there.
Lillie was a wonderful,caring, and loving lady. She always had a smile for me when I got to work. I loved her as if she was my grandma. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss her so very much.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Loving certainly was a suitable adjective for Lillie.
I worked with her at Goodyear and had the pleasure of being her lunch companion every Thursday. Our strongest bond was a love of cats, she, her Smokey and me, my Maverick ... and Christ.
The Lillie I knew has not been here for some time but I remember with such fondness the beautiful lady, my friend whose gentle, quiet, caring demeanor reminded me so much of Christ.
You have my deepest sympathy.
