Dear Nathan, Marshall, Roseann, Karen & Michael:
I was sorry to read about the death of Lillian. I know you feel her loss deeply. As you know, Ted and I were old and good friends since our Junior year at Von Steuben high school. Even though for most of that time a lot of miles separated us physically, we talked and corresponded a lot... I last saw him about four years ago when he was up in Milwaukee. I miss him very much.
Back in high school in particular, we'd spend a lot of time at the Kolodenko home on Avers Ave. and Lillian was almost like a second mother to me. She was a wonderful woman.
I wish all of your family the very best
Karen: In browsing the Internet recently, I ran across your short fantasy story and enjoyed it greatly. As an old science fiction & fantasy fan I thought it was well written. Which came as no surprise because I see you've got your father's writing genes. I'd love to read more of your work.
Michael: I googled your father on the Internet and found some of his poems. And I recently saw that what was probably his last poem was contributed by you. All of his poems touched me. I recall one that he wrote to me when my father died back in 1957. I think Ted was in Korea at that time.

Dear Marshall-
Art and I just found out about your mother's death at 5PM. We are so very sorry for your loss.
Art always said how kind your mother was and what a good son you were.
Please let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do. We hope that you will know no more sorrow.
Fondly,
US
