I can hardly believe that I am writing this to honor you in death.

Wasn't I just with you on Friday, this is not something that was supposed to happen at this time in your life. I've been pretending to myself this week that you are on a vacation. That is the only reason I could think of as to why you are not at your desk. Who is going to call me in the morning with some crazy going ons. Who is going to follow me down the hall listening to the thump of my cross as my FIBROMYALIAS AND MIGRAINES come on.

Who is going to bring me my Chicken Tortilla soups that I love so much.

This can't be real, I am waiting to see you get off that elevator and jump out at me coming around the corner. There is a real void here and an uneasy quietness that will be with us for a long time. Goodbye time is at hand and I hope you will smile down on us every so often. Rest easy dear friend.......... Always your friend, Theresa Soprano Sabatino, Buon Viaggio!

Dear Les, Maureen and family -

My very deepest condolences are with you at this most difficult time. There are not enough words to describe the wonderful gentleman, gentle man and friend that was Les. We laughed and cried together and learned so much from each other. To say I will miss him deeply understates the void he will leave in my life and the lives of everyone he touched. I pray that God's love and peace will be yours in the following days.

Les Jr - just a little "postcard" for you: Rest in peace, my dear friend. Love, "Church Lady"

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance.

They awaken us to new understanding

with the passing whisper of their wisdom

Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts And we are never, ever the same

Lester, You will be miss so dearly. I wish for one more laugh with you...
