To the Family and Friends and Patients of the late Dr. Baranov-

It was with great sadness that I read the obit. for Dr. Baranov.

He treated me, as well as much of my extended family, at his offices in the vicinity of Howard and Western Aves. in the city of Chicago many years ago, in the '70's. He was a great man, and an even greater doctor. On behalf of my late mother, Annette, late father, Max, late uncles Slim and Sam, and late Grandma Rose Melzer, best wishes to the surviving members of Dr. Baranov, and, Dr. B., I hope that you had a truly fantastic 90+ years on this planet, and that you will now, finally, rest in peace, knowing in your heart that you have healed hundreds if not thousands of people with your knowledge, and great bedside manner. Good bye, Good luck to you as well as the late Bethesda Hospital!

With great sadness and great appreciation to all of your family.

Dear Mrs. Baranov,

On behalf of my family I wish to convey our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband. Dr. Baranov was a part of our family too, maybe not biologically, but nevertheless was an "extended" family member. Our entire family was once under the care of your husband. Starting with my grandmother, Mary Allikian, my mother, Violet "Goldie" Lipinski, my father, Raymond Lipinski and their children Carey, Lorrie, and myself, I am Linda. "Dr. B" as we lovingly called him, delivered my brother, sister and myself. Dr. B was one of the most kindest, warmest, sincere, lovable individuals we have ever known. When it came to his patients, his care, listening and patience were too be admired. Doctors today should be like him, but I guess those days are gone. My family would like to get in touch with you sometime when you feel the time is right. You can reach me via e-mail. Again, our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Linda Lipinski
