To the Martin family very sorry for your loss. LeRoy was top shelf, Ever since I was a kid he always had me cracking up. Patti would take me over to McKinley to watch the Royals play and he was a real good ballplayer. I spent a lot of time at Rita's house growing up, and they had the most extensive VHS collection, it was like a video store we would always watch movies and LeRoy did some good impressions, one I remember is Zod from Superman 2..... "Why do you insult me for you know I will kill you for it." He had the most dead on face when he did it too. He was a great DJ too!
Stay strong Martin family.

Dear Jackie,Lee,Elizabeth and Michael,
Words cannot begin to express my sadness in hearing of Lee's death.I hope you take comfort in knowing that he has touched so many people along the way,his warm, yet almost devious smile, you know like he knew something that we did'nt know.Through his music ,that brought so much pleasure to so many people. His devotion to you Jackie, his deep pride in Lee,Elizabeth and Michael, was apparent.Reflecting back,Lee and you were in almot every stage of my life, from baseball,Brown's uniforms and as neighbors.I am truly going to miss him,as will anyone who every met him and enjoyed his company.Kids know that your father's love and pride runs through your hearts.Take care of your mom and know your dad's life continues through yours.
My deepest sympathy,
Mike Ligue

Liz,
You are a wonderful person and a source of great pride to your family. Having met your father briefly, this was something impossible to miss. You will carry on his legacy in all that you do and he wll be smiling all the while. When you find it hard to smile, know your friends are here for you and thinking about you.

Dearest Jackie: My love and affection at this most difficutl time. "In the journey of life some people leave a mark so deep that it becomes hard to forget them." Our nephew was one of those precious individuals. His strength is a legacy to you and your children. The date of his passing (9/11) proves he will be added to the list of "Hero." I "Thank God" for allowing us to have Lee as a strong, sensitive, loving, gently, spirited, humorous individual in our lives. Your mother loved you dearly. We will never forget you, Lee. I will pray to you daily. Jackie, my love and sympathy to you and the children. Your loving, Aunt Barbara.

Lee and I first met in 1974 at Boyce Park playing for Ed Shenberger's Canaryville Orioles. Lee was a little squirt then. I'm proud to say that we remained friends since. Although I had not seen him much in recent years, I will miss him dearly.
God be with you Lee.
Sincerely,
