LeRoy Lubert Obituary

Lubert, LeRoy L. 89, of Mokena, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Lubert; father of Audrey Sparks, Anita Duncan, Roger (Pamela) Lubert, Amy (Jody) Conrad, Robert (Michele) Winslow and Ross McKnight; grandfather of Seana, Tommy, Mia, Dorian, Kate, Hannah, Jacob, Amanda, Elise, Hannah and Nicole; great-grandfather of six. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL and on Saturday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 19515 115th Ave., Mokena, IL. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date. LeRoy served with the U.S. Army and was a founding member of American Legion Post 2000 who will post colors on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He proudly served with the Honor Guard at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Legion Post 2000, P.O.
