Kut, Leotto Kay

(Nee Holt)

Age 81, late of Storypoint Assisted Living Romeoville, and formerly of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026. Born in Portageville, MO, lived in Chicago, Michigan, Oak Forest for many years, Lockport for over 10 years, and a resident at Storypoint since 2024. She enjoyed playing games, creating ceramics, watching the Hallmark Channel and decorating. She took great pride in her home, loved gardening, collecting antiques, shopping and going out to dinner.

She was a kind and loving soul; She was very generous and had a great sense of humor. Above all else she cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Melvin L. Kut; Her parents, Claude and Pearl (nee Stanford) Holt; Her siblings, JW (late Opal) Holt, Adrick (Sheri) Holt, and Joyce (late Mac) MacDonald.

Survived by her devoted children, Scott (Fridah) Kut, and Laura (Tom) Neuhardt; Two adored grandsons, Zac and Thomas Neuhardt; Her loving sister, Vurla (Bob) Weede; Her dear sisters-in-law, Sue (late Tim) Kut and Diane (late Bernard) Kut and

many loved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the O'Neil Funeral

Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12noon. Interment will be held following service at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
