Lee, you will be missed. I know that you are in a better place.

Leon's smile and personality brightened many a day for all of us in the "Hum". We shared a love of Girard and "doo-wop". We are all better people for having known you. Goodbye, my friend.

Leon: You had a great journey in this life and I know you will have a better one in the next. I will miss Nelia's and your trips to Alaska and I look back on that short time spent together during a portcall and wish we had made it much longer. God bless you and yours.

Goodbye dear brother. Your humor and good spirits will be missed by us all.

Lee was one of those individuals who brought happiness into the lives of others at Girard. His sense of humor and winning smile will be long remembered. Farewell to a good Girard brother.

Im deply saddened in hearing of Lee's illness and passing. He was loved and appreciated by all his Girard Classmates. His affection for us and things Girard were shown by the many times he journeyed to the East for Girard's Founder's Day observations and class functions. His ready smile, his great sense of humor and his love of life will remain forever in our memories.

You will be missed. You're are a part of the great Girard College family and you were a wonderful classmate. Your loyality to the Hum was an inspiration for me and others, I am sure.

The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Girard College Alumni Association wishes to express its deepest sympathy on Leon's passing. Rest in Peace.

Lee was an "old guy"--I'm class of 1958--but a good and interesting man. My prayers for peace for his family and many dear friends.

I'm sadden to hear of Leon's passing.

I'm a member of Girard '56. I have fond memories of Leon and many of his classmates. I remeber Leon coming home on Founders Day and playing in the GCAA Golf Tourn. His smile and personality always was there for others to enjoy. He loved Girard College and "Hummers".Leon will sorely be missed by many, many Fiends/brothers. As the Pres. and brother,I wish to express my sympathies and condolences, to you,and all of '57, from the Girard College Alumni Assoc. Nick Silvano '56.

Lee and I spoke several times but regretfully not enough during his illness. Please accept my deepest sympathies for Lee's passing. He will be missed.

Leon; only a sacred few have shared our treaured past at Girard. Be at peace and know that your family and brothers are a living part of you.

Your sense of humor will surely be missed

Lee and I go back a long time-- to Girard College where we met, shared many fine experiences as young boys in a private boarding school. Our God father,Stephen Girard, provided this wonderful opertunity to grow from boys to men(age 8 to 18).

Lee was loved by many--his mother,his wife, children and many many friends. We will all miss him and cherish his memory.
