Like Tony Duran, met Lee during my stint in the Marine Corp, which began with my sitting next to him on a prop-driven commuter plane, which carried us across the Appalachian Mountains to Beaufort, SC for a bus ride to Parris Island. The plane experienced many steep drops and gyrations due to updrafts; everyone got sick and Lee was green. We thought he was going to die, but he eventually enjoyed boot came with the rest of us. Reserve meetings and active duty weeks clearly showed he was the "good" guy as praised by those who knew him better than I. The world needs more of his type and integrity. God has him now.

Only today Sunday Jan 21st 18, did we learn of the demise of LB.

So many and I mean many good people I was fortunate to meet via our Le Roy BULLERI, I have met Securities Traders all over the USA, and the conventions were a total hoot. The Chicago, Mothers Gang, what a treat to have met every one of them.

The memories of LB, come swimming over me, they are all good, we held a Bocci game in various cities , it was such a success and even more fun.

We worked together on business generation, and LB at a function was just magical to watch, he had the touch the class, and also the Italian colour , the impact , such a person , one of the most astounding people I have ever met in my life. Keith Bullen NOTL ON CANADA

So very sorry to learn of Lee's passing. I've been out of the Trading business for several years now and lost touch with most of the people I knew, including Lee.
When I think of Lee, I always remember how generous he was. Never heard him speak an unkind word. When my Step Dad learned he had cancer, Lee mailed several books to him to assist with his journey. I remember back around 2000 or 2001, Lee came down to Florida and Gail Faulk and I took him to the stable where I kept my horse at the time. Lee rode that day and said he would always cherish the picture Gail took of him riding my horse, Richie. God bless you, Lee.

Dear Pat and Roy,
I am very sorry for your loss. Lee and I became friends when I Had had him set up his Bocchi ball game on the side of our Baseball field. That was the first time he had sponsored anything and from then on friends for life. He will be GREATLY MISSED. My love to the family

Dear Pat and Roy, Many years ago, when LeRoy joined The Chicago Corporation, we discovered that we knew each other as children/teens when we spent our summers in Stevensville, MI. LeRoy was part of the Italian "cadre" and I was part of the Greek bunch who had homes there and spent our summers at the beach everyday. We shared a lot of wonderful, fun memories and created a few new ones at Chicago Corp. He was a fun, lovely man. My condolences to you on what I know is a big loss. Regards, Cleo Brown

Pat, I am truly sorry for your loss. Lee was such a great presence in my life. He helped me with my husband when he had a brain tumor. I still drink out of mug he gave to me so many years ago, and this weekend I found my DBUR Lee Bulleri ruler. Such a fine wonder soul. I know he is smiling down at you.

My condolences to the Bulleri Family, I have so many great memories of Lee. I met him in 1997 through a mutual friend Fran Kelly. One of my fondest memories came in 2007 when he found out my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, he reached out to me. It was such a difficult time and he gave me the greatest advice in the world with two simple words, he said "don't project" I took it to heart and it got me through a really agonizing time in my life. That was Lee, that advice summed up how he lived, live for the moment and enjoy every minute with family and friends! Until we meet again my friend thanks for the life's lesson, I'm eternally grateful for our friendship!

Pat and Roy...I am saddened to hear of our loss but fully confident in Heaven's gain. Lee touched folks at the heart level unlike many people can...it seemed to be his gift and he did what we should all do and that is share our gifts. But he accomplished that duty on a higher level than anyone I have known. From gracious host to intense worker, he did it all so well. Thank you for sharing him with me and so many others. Blessings to all of you as you mourn, but take heart as we will laugh with him again!

I will always have great memories of Lee B lighting up the phone board to invite us out for lunch or drinks and of him entertaining us with his stories and vibrant personality which even outshone his buckles and boots. He always showed a genuine interest in everyone and was not only kind but was always one to remember a kindness. As Lee was a man who knew life was too short to drink cheap wine (and even made his own wine ) we will toast his memory accordingly. Our deepest sympathies to the Bulleri family.

December 27, 2014

Dear Pat, We are deeply sorry for your loss. Sorry, we will not be able to attend the funeral mass. My wife was in a car accident and she fractured her sternum. Again please accept our condolences. You are in our hearts and prayers. God bless you and your family

To the Bulleri Family: sorry to see Lee has passed away,; over the years at many Trader's Conventions I would run into Lee and of course we would have a great time. I always admired his humility and gratitude despite over the years having difficult surgeries. Never complaining about it, but grateful for his time here; thank you Lee for the moments I shared with you, peace in Heaven.

My dear friend Le Roy,
It was in the early 1960's when I first met you at the "Clubhouse" on Oakley & Blue Island. We were all turning 21 and facing the draft but you came up with a great solution which was to enlist in Marine Corp Reserves at the Glenview Naval Air Station, it was the best decision I ever made. I will always cherish the days we had at Parris Island, SC together.
Rest in peace my brother.

Pat and Roy
I'm so incredibly sad to hear about Lee. He was the nicest , funniest and most generous guy out there . He and Dad were such great friends , they were more like brothers. I loved to grab a drink with the 2 of them and just sit there and listen to their hilarious stories of the glory days in trading . My dad loved him dearly and I know that they are together hugging it out , grabbing a drink and picking up where they left off chatting about the glory days
Lee will be missed greatly he was such an awesome guy one of the greats for sure
Pat and Roy my prayers are with you both much love

Lee was a force; of nature, of will, of being. He was tough, generous, quick, and funny. He taught me a lot about trading and being a human being. He was one of a kind.
I absolutely respect an honor his memory, but the Lee I know and love was a fun guy who loved everyone, so when I think of him in heaven, I smile thinking he is standing next to St Peter at the gates, handing out pens. God bless you, Lee.
