I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I remember him as a hard working father, a painter and a down to earth person with a good sense of humor. rip

To the Jacob family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad and my Godfather and Uncle Larry! Although I haven't lived in Chicago for many years of my young life, I have come to visit every summer on and off for the past 30+ years of my adult life! Every time I came to town Uncle Larry always made time for me! We have gone for many rides on his boat and he has come to Michigan for many years to see me and I always loved spending time with him!! I have recently lost my adoptive dad and the one thing I want to pass along to all of you is to love each other! It's hard to lose a parent and a loved one and we all grieve in our own ways, but I hope all his wonderful children, who I am proud to call my cousins can come together and remember all the good times with your dad!! I love you all and I wish you all peace and love during this difficult time! Rest easy Uncle Larry until we meet again!!
