We knew Father Hanley as a gentle being with a very kind spirit. He officiated at our wedding Mass 45 years ago at St. Peter's Church in Antioch. He became a
great provider to us thru the years for our many spiritual needs.
As a church musician, I worked with him in numerous liturgy ceremonies. As a teacher at St.Peter's School, my class always welcomed him with enthusiasm. As a teen growing up in Antioch, he was a driving force and a role model in helping me to deepen my faith and to strengthen my love for God. We are thankful for his presence in our lives. May he rest eternally in God's Kingdom. Vic and Joan Ottolino

God bless you Father Hanley. He came out of retirement to marry my husband and I at St. Peter's Church in Antioch, Illinois. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Our family has been greatly blessed over the years, and without a doubt Lawrence was one of our greatest gifts. He partied with us, prayed with us, baptized, married and buried us. He was always there to minister to our spiritual needs.
Although there is now sorrow on earth, there is a great Irish celebration in heaven. Lawrence has joined the rest of our loving family, watching over us, waiting for us to join the party.
