Lawrence Gutierrez Obituary
Gutierrez, Lawrence 56, passed away August 25, 2008, survived by his loving mother, Mary, caring sister, Rosemarie (Ricky) Munoz, devoted brother of Michael Gutierrez, fond son of Lawrence Gutierrez Jr. and adoring nephews, Tony, Ricky (Carol) and Benny. He will be missed by his affectionate great-nieces and nephew, Marissa, Miranda and Anthony. Visitation on Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Benson Family Funeral Home, 3224 W. Montrose Ave. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Teresa's Church at 1037 W. Armitage. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. For information: 773-478-5800

Larry always overcame obstacles and adverse challenges on his journey through life...there is one particular area that never seemed to waiver but grow in hopefulness and healing...that was his faith and belief in a Power Greater than himself...and it became even more apparent and more stronger as his life came to an end.
He would tell many to "Think Magnificent!" which were the words on his pink flourescent business cards...however, not to overshadow his phone number and offer to call him "anytime."
"Think Magnificent"...were the words he offered to help others as well as himself to build on and develop ourselves into a people who believe in ourselves as contributers in this great world...to thank our Higher Power for giving us life so we can carry this positive message to all who are unwell in mind body and or spirit. I miss Larry very much...but he is so much alive in my heart...so with this I say to all:
"Think Magnificent!"
