Weldzius, LaVerne 89, of Chicago, passed away January 6, 2010, beloved wife of the late William, loving mother of Mary, William (the late Janis) and Robert Weldzius, Patricia (Robert) Wiley and the late Thomas Weldzius, cherished grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of five. Visitation Sunday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago. Prayers Monday, January 11th, 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to St. Hilary Church, 5600 N. California, Chicago, for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Share a memory at www.mem.com.
