Dear Jim, Debbie, Ray and Sue,
Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Matthes family. We are very saddened by your Mom's passing. She was a great friend and a very caring person. We will always have wonderful memories of really special times spent together; especially those that tie back to the "old neighborhood".
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. God bless your family.

Laverne was a wonderful person. I always remember her and Ray sitting in the Crying Room every Sunday for 7:30 a.m. Mass. I would always go in and chit-chat with her. She had a very up-beat attitude and loved to talk about her family and grandchildren. She missed Ray but continued to live life as best as she could. We sat together at the various Parish functions and laughed about the old days. She will be missed very much by all.
