Dear Wenzel Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult period. I can not even imagine the loss you are experiencing. Our family will continue to pray for the entire family, and know that she is in a place that does not have any suffering.

Dear Jean, George and Haley,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have such wonderful memories of Laurie as a little girl when we were on Theda Lane. I was so saddened to hear of her illness and so sorry I was out of the country at the time of her passing. Just know that you are in my heart and prayers and I wish you the Lord's peace and healing. God Bless you all.
Love,
Sharon Marconi

To The Wenzel/Kowaleski Families:
I am so sorry for your loss. Because Laurie was such a close friend of mine for the first 11 years of my life on Theda Lane, I will always remember her fun-loving spirit. I pray for your peace and courage to keep going.
The St. Collette service was beautiful and touching, I felt honored to be there, along with our other close childhood friend Patty Loesch Reilly.
Haley is such a beautiful child with the whole world ahead of her. She seems to have Laurie's sparkle in her eyes. I wish her the best.
Love Always,
Debbye Duda

My dearest Haley, Jean and George,
It is with such a heavy heart I extend to you all today my deepest sympathy for your loss. I know that Laurie fought this battle with such grace, dignity and courage. I am truly sorry for this loss. I am especially sorry that I was not there to comfort you through my music. This is one of the hardest parts about being away from St. Colette. I grew to care and love so many, and found myself praying for so many, and Laurie was one of those special people I offered mass for and prayed for. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and in my prayers. God bless you all. I miss you and think of you often, and will especially at this difficult time. Love to all, Debbye Duda
