To the Family of Mrs. Hamilton,

Mrs.Hamilton truly touched my heart. She was not only the best teacher, but she was an inspiration to all of those around her. She has helped me through some of the Sacraments of God,and she always kept me believing in whatever it was, when I had doubts. She had the best heart of anyone I have ever known. I think that I can speak for all of those people who have known Mrs.Hamilton, that she was sent from God to make all of our lives happier, more joyful & better. She had a heart the size of the world. I know now that she is in a better place, and she will always be a "Saint" to me. I will never forget her.

Love,

Madeline Callahan, Grade 8, SJA.

To Mrs. Hamilton's Family,

Mrs. Hamilton had the best personality that I knew. She was truly a gift from God. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She also keep her spirits high when she was feeling low. It's not a time to be sad, it is a time to rejoice and know that she is no longer suffering.

Love,

Spencer

Sarah and Mr. Hamilton~ I am so sorry to hear about your wonderful mother and wife. She was a special lady and I will always remember her enthusiasm and encouragement of all of us on the Loyola Volleyball Team. I know my parents enjoyed many games watching us play together Sarah. My mom always enjoyed talking with yours. Just know that she will always be with you now in peace and without pain. You and your family are in my prayers and I am sorry that I could not attend the services this week. My family sends there love and condolences.

Dear Tim, Sarah, Sally and All,

We have all lost a dear friend and a caring, compassionate person from our lives. Many felt very close to Laura, because she cared so much for all of those around her. She was a wonderful influence on all of us. I am sure that she is in a much better place now, with the Lord. We will all cherish her memory and should just be thankful for having her in our lives for the time that we did. Our children [Patrick, Jason & Erika] had one of the best teachers that ever existed in 'Mrs. Hamilton.' Our prayers and condolences go out to all of her family and friends for this loss.

Dave & Minda McWhinnie and Family.

I wish I could find the words to express what a loss Laura will be to my wife and I and our family. I could never repay the joy and happiness she brought into our lives. People often talk of people "fighting" cancer. Laura defined the word "fight". She was an inspiration to anyone who ever met her. Tim, Sarah and Sally, you are in our prayers. She is with God today and will never suffer again. We will miss her greatly.

Paradigm of teacher...gentle pedagogue who never demanded angrily but always encouraged her students through reason and persistence... my children are all so much better as people because of Laura as a role model in the classroom and in her valiant fight in life... Our heartfelt sorrow to her family and our prayers for their grief----may your pain ease quickly but your joy of her memories increase with each day gone.

Though I did not know Laura, she was a true inspiration to me. She was a dear friend of my sister-in-law. Through her years of suffering she has courageously shared the cross with Christ. Through it all, Laura never gave up hope and was determined to reach her goals. All those who knew Laura are better people because of her love and determination. Though she will be missed, it is a blessing to know that she is with Jesus, Mary and God the Father in a place of peace and tranquility that we can only imagine. Through Christ's death on the cross He has given Laura eternal life and she is surely enjoying the bliss and freedom of God's love. May God bless Tim and Sarah and the other family and friends of Laura.

To Laura's Family,

Words really cannot express the hope, strength, and courage Laura gave to everyone around her. As a member of our Silver Lining support group, she always focused on the needs of others. Each time I was with Laura she was so inspirational to me. Even though our times together were very limited, I will always carry Laura's spirit with me as well as her gentle guidance. She's my special angel as well as yours!

May God Bless Each of You, and may you find Peace in the days ahead.
