To all of you who loved our mom like we did, I wanted to take a moment to tell you that she left us peacefully, slowly and quiet. All of her kids except Chris (lives in Montana) were there at her side, holding her hands as God took her home to our dad who has been waiting a very long time to be with his wife again. Your support is greatly appreciated, we all did need it and it helped us all through it. I will miss my mom dearly and carry her with me in my heart for the rest of my life. The last night I spent with her was the Friday before she passed, and as I helped her walk to her bedroom that night she still got a smile out of me as she looked towards me and said "Isn't this fun?" while she slowly slid her feet on the carpet towards her bed. She was a wonderful person, be glad you were able to meet her, a one of a kind.

It was wonderful meeting some of Laura's children. Laura was always very proud of her family and with good reason. I've known her since childhood...never real good friends...but definitely friends. Maybe we grew up in a special time because there is a tremendous bond among all of us from that era. So Laura and Bob have always been special people to me. My heartfelt sympathy to each and every one of you...her family. Laura was a very giving person...and know she will be tremendously missed by all those who knew her.

Laura and I met many years ago when we were involved in girl scouting activities. She was always a very upbeat lady..there were many sad times in her life but she was quite positive no matter what life dealt her. We both belonged to St. Mark Church in Worth but we did not cross paths very much in our activities there. She was a very admired woman and I know she will be missed by so many at St. Mark. Laura has finished the journey we will all someday make.

Laura was a good friend to me during our time at APPS and for the years after. She was gracious and kind to me always. May God hold her softly in his hand and bless those who will miss her most.

My dear friend, Many a heart has been broken with your passing. Yet, even more so, many of us will hold close to the enormous love you shared. I will miss you greatly.
