I was saddened to hear the news of Kristie's death. What a tragic thing to happen to such a wonderful girl. My heart goes out to her family and friends. She will be missed, I'm sure. I went to Jr.High with Kristie and we were good friends. Kristie was a shining star. She always brightened up a room. Her smile was big and her laughter infectious. She was such a character. "Hey Lampton!" is what she used to call me. She was a genuine person, I can tell you that. Very funny too! I remember going over to her house after school or on the weekend and seeing how she cared for her little brother, Karl. She just loved him. I thought she had a close relationship with her parents too, which I envied. Kristie thought Jean Harlow was so pretty and had the best eye lashes, and she used to spend a lot of time making sure her's were just right, long and beautiful, like Jean's. Kristie and I lost touch after Jr. High; we may have spoken occasionally in High school, but she was one of the people that I occasionally thought about and wondered what she was up to and how her life turned out. I hope she experienced enough love and got to do the things that she enjoyed. She was one of the people in my life that helped to shape mine, and I thank her for that.
Good-bye, Kristie, and God keep you!

Words could never convey the sorrow you must all be feeling. Nothing anyone can say could ever make the pain lesser, but hopefully the knowledge that your family is in many thoughts, hearts and prayers will give you comfort. Our deepest of sympathy to all of Kristie's family and friends.

I used to work with Kristie @ Pan American in Chicago. Even though I hadn't talked to Kristie in a while, stories would come up about working there which would ALWAYS put a smile on my face! Most of my fun working there was Kristie & me. She was the first one who knew that I was pregnant because she bought the home test kit! Her & I won radio tickets to see Led Zeppelin (Page/Plant) FRONT ROW because she knew a trivia question, and I could dial a phone real fast!!
It was stuff like that that always had Kristie on my mind.
Good friends are forever...and they are always remembered!!
