I heard from my mom that Kevin died. I am so sorry. He was a great, welcoming guy and so encouraging of us when we were kids. Just remember-He lives!

Dear Norma, Mary, Karen, Nancy, and Jim,
Greetings from Salt Lake City.
I am so sorry to hear that Kevin passed away. He was always so kind to me, as were you all. I loved how his bright eyes crinkled when he laughed. He was never irritated, and God knows, we were probably irritating!
I remember our picnics at Argonne, the way Norma swung on the swings even though she was a grownup, the rocket slide. We date the McKenzie interest in international travel to your family's expedition to Switzerland to advance scientific knowledge. Kevin had an enormous impact on our family and our community. May God bless and keep him.

Dear Norma, Karen, Jim, Nancy, and Mary:
I am so sorry to read this news from Eugene Oregon. Your father was one of my favorite persons. His light and his laughter rang throughout our house on Seeley for so many years growing up.
I loved listening to you all play cards, watching you all play tennis and I give thanks that my own Father had such good friends in his waning years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time. I know my Mother is first in line to welcome him to the after life party. XOXO.
