Dear Lynne,

Theresa informed me of Ken's rapid decline and subsequent passing. I was so sorry to learn the very disheartening news.

Just this past week, Theresa sent me the link to your My Space page. I enjoyed reading your beautifully stated thoughts, updates, and wedding photos. I'm glad that you were able to officially affirm your spiritual commitment to one another. I will look forward to reading your future updates.

It seems that you have a pretty good support system in friends and family; I hope that you will have many shoulders to lean upon as you bear this terrible sorrow.

I know we've never met (although we spoke on the phone once), but I know from what I've read that you have handled this difficult time in your life with class, dignity and pure love. I will pray for Ken's safe journey to the other side. I will also pray that your heart finds comfort and peace.
