What can you say about Ken? Well, to me, he just started out as someone I can send my cars to and know I would get fair and fast service. It didn’t take long to realize he is an extraordinary guy. I found out fast that he had a lot more to offer than just a business partnership. He was a mentor and a one of a kind friend. We referred work back and forth all the time helping grow each other’s business. I know whenever I sent someone to Ken at Ashland Tire they would never be disappointed. He was not only a great businessman but a man of great integrity who loved his family. He would talk about them all the time and if one of them needed body work he would tell me he does not care what it cost he won’t cut any corners on his family. Ken was just a one of a kind person. Today, I hope he is flying high in his dream airplane or going for a ride on his fan or maybe just sitting by his pool getting a tan. Whatever your doing Ken, just know you will be missed. Billy Joel was right when he said “only the good die young” because you were one of the best. Godspeed K.P.

As a customer of Ashland Tire & Auto, I often referred to Ken as a "righteous" businessman. I was saddened to hear that he has left us.

Ken was one of the first people I met after moving to Chicago. He serviced my cars. I have never known anyone in any business with a higher level of honesty and integrity than Ken. He took great pride in his family and lived his life to the fullest. We will miss him but his spirit will live forever.

Being from the Gary camp, I never really got a chance to know you on a more buddy level. To my regret I wish I had. When I was young and impressionable my loyality held back much exploration. It's this disconnect with possability I've always regretted.
Your honesty, loyalty and amazing work ethic's have always inspired me.
