To The Eggen Family:
I was saddened to read of the death of Dr. Eggen. He was the most compassionate and capable person I ever met and thoroughly devoted to his family. I'll miss his phone calls asking me to check a "suspicious car" in the neighborhood. His mind was constantly working. Again, my
deepest condolences to the family.

Dear Eggen Family,
I am very sorry to hear of the death of my friend and neighbor, "Doc". Please accept my condolences. I'm not sure if he liked being called Doc, but I always did and he always smiled back and asked how I was. I remember as a child seeing him walk his cute dog every night. I also remember him reading the newspaper each night on the front porch. I will miss him greeting me as I visit my parents.
I hope your happy memories of Doc help you cope with your loss.
Sincerely,
Maureen Conway DeRose

It is with great sorrow and sadness to learn of Dr. Eggen's passing. Dr. Eggen was a man with great integrity and honesty. Having worked closely with him at the State of Illinois, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with him over the past years. Beyond having an expert mind in the medical field, he was a true family man. My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Eggen, children and grandchildren. He was always there for me and my family, and I will sorely miss him. Our heart felt condolences.
Dave Harris and family.

It was with great sadness that I read this morning of the passing of Dr. Eggen. Although we had lost touch over the years I have many fond memories of my years as his office nurse. He will be sorely missed by many....my sincere sympathies are with you all at this time.
