Dear Ann,
Ken was one of the finest men we've known. He was a true gentleman, a great leader and a wonderful mentor to me (Jenny). We enjoyed our years at Dean Foods under his leadership. Our thoughts are with you today as you celebrate Ken's long, full life, knowing how much he loved you and your family.
Our sympathy to you, Howard & Jenny Carpenter

My dad, Raymond Baer, worked at Dean Foods with Ken Douglas. My dad came to Dean Foods from Bowman Dairy back in the 60's. Although I never met Mr. Douglas, I remember how highly my dad spoke of him and of the high regard he had for him. I am very sorry for your loss and extend my sympathy to your family.

To Ann and the family,
Ken was a great person who I worked for and admired. My memories are rich and fulfilling. He is the reason that our family came to Chicago in 1963 and have benefitted ever since. i was deeply saddened by his encounter with Alzheimers for a man of such intellect and reasoning. The Linton family wishes you the best.

Dear Ann, This is a message of sympathy from your old friends Joan Cook Peterson and Carol Cook Woods. We talked on the phone about the good old days, and we both remember you and Ken with fondness. I (Carol) told Joan about the booklet that I found in my OPRF yearbook, naming Ken as one of the outstanding graduates. Dave sends his sympathy also. On Saturday the 15th we were at the Oak Park Country Club for a 66th reunion luncheon of his class, the class of "41, and it was good to see old friends. We'll be thinking of you and wish you strength for the times to come.

Sincerely, Carol and Joan

My favorite:
I'd like the memory of me
To be a happy one, I'd like to leave on Afterglow of Smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo..
Whispering softly down the Ways of happy times and Laughling times and bright and sunny days. I'd like The tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when Life is done..
This what made Mr.Douglas a happy man...
