Keith Wengert Obituary

Wengert, Keith
Keith Wengert passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on November 19th, 2010 after a brief illness. Keith was born in Sioux Falls, SD on January 20th, 1929 and brought his family to Arizona in 1961. A Korean War veteran who served in the Army, he was an entrepreneur who worked for 48 years at various business opportunities as an independent contractor until retiring in 1991. He was preceded in death by his grandson Eric Simmons, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth, his children Kaiya (Ray) Meyeres, Robin Simmons, Kevin Wengert, Shelly Neal, Brian Wengert, Rebecca (Patrick) Daniels, and Lisa (Roy) Siqueiros, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 23rd at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Road. Funeral Mass will be said 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 24th at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Ave.
A Military burial will be held at the VA Cemetery at 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ at 12:30 PM following the Mass.
