Kay Shefcik Obituary

Shefcik, Kay F.

Kay Shefcik nee Ross passed away on April 17th at 64 years old with family singing her favorite hymms. Kay is the daughter of the late Carl and Antoinette Ross, Nee Johnson. Kay lost her husband Robert E. Shefcik of 36 years in 2012. Kay was preceded in Death by all her older sisters, Kathy, Karen, and Krissy. Her favorite brother Kenny (Connie) Ross and favorite playmate Kimmy Cygan remain. Kay and Bob are survived by their only son Bobby Shefcik. Kay is an Aunt to over 20 Nieces and Nephews as well as a great aunt. Kay was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Kay has been a long-time resident of Chicago attending both David ES, and Kelly HS. Kay worked many years, she worked at Hinkley Springs in accounting and most recent, PerCom answering service. Kay was a beloved member at her church and loved singing for God. Kay and her husband would play music and sing specials at her church for years. Her memorial service will be held this Saturday, June 4th at noon with visitation from 10-12:00pm at Hazelgreen Baptist Church, 5022 W. 115th Street, Alsip IL. by Pastor Reed.
