Jim,Tom,&Pat,
I know how much Kathy enjoyed getting birthday cards so I was especially thinking of her last Sat, Aug 4. I am so happy for her and your Mom & Dad. How much fun they must all be having.I feel that she's come out of her cocoon and is now the beautiful butterfly on the outside that we know she was on the inside. What a wonderful gift for your parents. But of course for those left behind it's a time of sadness. It's a loss that can't be filled. I'm sure you're all comforted, though, to know she's "in good hands." Love to all the Leahy Family. Your DC cousin, Mary

Dear Jim,Tom,and Pat

My condolences on the loss of your sister.
I remember your sister and family from St.Joseph Church and School in Wilmette about 50yrs. ago. my name is John Carpenter. I have two brothers George and Patrick plus a sister Cathy. I remember your Dad. I was in the Boy Scouts at St.Joseph. We were on a campout at Wilmot. We set up our tents but I wasn't feeling good. I came down with the Chicken Pox. Your dad with his black cigar gave me a ride home. The ride home was in 1941? big black Cadilac which I will never forget.
