Hello My Beautiful Cousins,

I am soooo sorry that I was not there for you on the passing of your beautiful mom, as you have been there for our family when my mom passed away.

God has truly blessed me with a family like you. I can't wait until we get together this summer for "Aunt Kay Day."

The Bible says blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Praying for all of you this day,

Your cousin,

glo

This is a picture from mom's last vacation in Vegas. It doesn't get much better than this! Remember her the way she would want.

She was happy and we love and miss her dearly.

Kathy's Family,

What a blessing it was to have worked with, goofed off with and loved our Kathy. She taught me so many things that have helped me in my pursuit of success in this life. I have known no other that was more diligent in her work.

God blessed me greatly when he allowed me to be around Kathy Navarro.

Dear Irene and Michelle,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Be strong at this difficult time. I too lost my mom years ago and my handicapped brother just this past Aug. 03. It's TUFF, but hang in there. I believe in angels also and she is looking down and watching upon all of you. You and the family are in my prayers.

God bless and take care.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT KATE THIS WEEK AND WAS REFLECTING ON THE TIMES I SPENT WITH HER. I WORKED WITH HER DURING OUR BINGO DAY AT ST PIUS WHEN SHE CALLED OUT THE BINGO NUMBERS AND I WORKED IN THE SNACK BAR. WE WOULD TALK AFTER THE GAMES AND WE WOULD LAUGH AT THE PEOPLE THAT WOULD YELL AT HER TO "SHAKE THE BALL" WHEN THEY NEEDED A NUMBER. I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN SHE LOVED TO COME TO OUR SMOKEY JOES PICNICS TO PLAY CARD WITH THE GUYS. SHE WOULD PLAY FOR HOURS AND LOVED BEING WITH JOE AND THE BOYS. KATE WAS A GOOD PLAYER.

I WOULD LIKE TO THINK OF HER PLAYING POKER WITH JOE AND HAVING THE TIME OF HER LIFE.

SHE IS WITH HER LORD AND WITH A FEW FRIENDS NOW AND MAYBE SHE IS CALL THE NUMBERS FOR HER KING.

OUR BLESSINGS TO HER FAMILY AND TO MY BROTHER MIKE AND SISTER-IN-LAW TEE-TEE-IRENE.

WITH ALL OUR HEART,

RIELLA AND WES RICH

Dear Irene, Michelle, Tiger, Blue, Bobby and Karen:

Nothing can fill the gap in your heart when you lose your mother. The person that gave you life. I cried as much at your mother's funeral as I did at my mother's because it brought back those last precious days I had with her.

I have a special place in my heart for anyone who has lost their mother. I will keep you all in my prayers. Take care of Dad. He needs you now. Make the rest of his days happy and comfortable. He will miss her everyday, but with his family at his side he will be comforted. God Bless You All.

Dear family Navarro

Our families have know each other since my sister and I were six. For over 40 years, you were our extended family.

Through the years I was able to tell your mother that I loved her, but never told her how I admired her. This gives me the forum to let others know what a remarkable woman

she was. When you look at her life,

one has to applaud her accomplishments. Kay raised 6 individually talented and honorable children while working full time in an industry that at that particular time wasn't all too favorable to women. Yet, she beat the odds and

proved to be a woman to reckon with.

Her work ethic and formidable skills

made her top in her field. Plus, still she had time to volunteer at the church and PTA.

Kay didn't have a welcome mat at her door..........Her heart let you in. When our mother passed away, Kay and her daughters unselfishly

invited us to share each Mothers Day with them. What would have been a sad day was one filled with love and laughter. Thank you Kay for making room in your heart for us.

And thank you for the legacy you gift us with .........your children.

Kathy's Family,

I worked with your Mom at Sears on the West Side. When she had Karen, I replaced her as secretary. She taught me the right way to do the job and I've taken that with me up to the present. Little did I know that the Sears reunion would be the last time I'd see her. She was one of a kind and I will remember her always. My deepest sympathy to the whole family.
