I,m so sorry for your loss. It has just blown me away. Everyone that came from our neighborhood held a special bond.I was lucky enough to cross paths with Kathy at a Horace Mann reunion a few years back, she still held her usual sense of humor, and craziness. It brought back all of the Oak Park childhood memories from hanging out at Field playground (morning, noon, and night) to eating PB&J with banana sandwiches and chocolate milk at the Doyle household. Everyone had large families in our neighborhood, so we were street kids bouncing from one house to the next, and sticking together like glue. Roaming up and down the streets singing at the top of our lungs, and laughing so hard we would cry. That's how I will keep Kathy in my heart.

Dear Matt, I just wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry for your loss. Although I only met your mother a couple times I know she was a special woman. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. We love you and wish you peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Dear Tom, Pat and Matt and the Doyle Family,
Your mom is a wonderful person who loved you guys and her family more than anything in the world. For those fortunate enough to have her as a friend she was a friend forever. I watched her fight this illness with her usual grace and dignity, no matter what setbacks she faced she refused to give up - this is the way she lived her life. I know she is watching over all of us from heaven and one day we will all meet again. Kath, thank you for being part of my life. I will always remember and be grateful for the times we spent together. I miss you, love you and will keep you in my heart and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had the pleasure of a great childhood attending Horace Mann School with Kathy and then meeting up with her later in life by working with her at the Maybrook Courthouse. She managed to keep her wonderful bubbly personality throughout her entire life. She will truely be missed by all.

She raised three sons to be productive young men. I remember Tom, Patrick and Matt as babies growing up. The fun times we all shared. We will miss her so much. My heart goes out to you all. I was fortunate enough to have seen Kathy a couple of times over the last few years when she came to visit in Tennessee. There are very few people in a persons life that can just pick up as if no years had passed...it was that way with Kathy the first time I saw her again a few years back. Kathy was a huge part of my childhood and I will never forget her. I am so saddened by her loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Tom, Pat and Matt,
I am very sad over the loss of your Mom. She loved each one of you so much and was extremely proud of all of you. She was so grateful to have her daughters Mary and Monica in her life and held them close to her heart. Our frienship goes back about 35 years and I can honestly say that I have always admired your Mom's spirit and love of life. As hard as she worked, she played even harder. She really knew how to have a good time. She was truly one of the most caring, loyal and loving people I have ever known and she will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.
