The news of Sister Kathleen's passing just reached Laguna Woods Village, Ca. Although we never met Sister Kathleen, good words about her devotion to God and the good works done for LCM made a lasting impression. May her soul rest in peace. Condolences to her family, and May God bless the sisters of The Little Company of Mary.

Sister Kathleen was a local girl, from St. Leo and Mercy high school who kept Little Company up to date with the building of the new hospital, was the face of LCM in the community, and a kind and caring woman who was such an effecitve administrator. It was a pleasure to know her, to work for her, and she was always an example of a woman with class and dignity. God rest her beautiful soul.

Sister Kathleen was the Director of Little Company of Mary School of Nursing when i was a student from 1982- 1984. i was so impressed with her ability of spiritual leadership. She had great faith and was always willing to listen and encourage no matter how difficult life seemed to be as a student. My cousin Mary Hladik Houchins who lives in Kentudky, wrote and said she was her nursing school classmate but left earlier to become an LCM Sister. We both have beautiful memories of her. and we know that she is very happy in Heaven- how could she not be- she loved the Lord and helped so many people.i am personally grateful to her.

I know that our Lord welcomed Sister Kathleen with open arms as she entered His kingdom and that His Blessed Mother was there to guide her to Jesus, just as she did on earth. May God bless the sisters of the Little Company of Mary!
