I am a Veteran and knew Kathy for about 20 years. I actually would go out of my way to see her when I went to the hospital. Kathy you made my visits to Hines so very pleasant. I really enjoyed talking to you. You will always be in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for many, many years. On a lot of mornings, each of us would have our cup of coffee and laugh and talk. I know it will be tough for the family but know my prayers are with you.

Kathy was my co-worker and mentor. She had this special way of keeping me gounded and not stress about the little things. I loved her sense of humor and greatly appreciated her friendship. Much sorrow here on earth, but great happiness in Heaven.

You were one of my long-time work sisters. Just like all sisters, we laughed, fought, and cried together, but there is no doubt in my mind that I loved you then and always will. Watch over us, Kirb. Col

I was Kathy's supervisor for several years. Often I described Kathy as compassionate, caring, dedicated, hard working, fair and fun loving. However, the best description was "friend". I will treasure the memory of her friendship. Rest in peace...my friend.
