Dear Rich,
I just found out and am so sad by the news of kathy's passing. I was just asking about her since I haven't received any emails from her as I did weekly. I'm sure Kathy told you how we met. My father bought Helen's building in Humboldt Park and we met in Pasadena! We both said we were from Chicago and long story short

I met Kathleen in 1983, when we were both fortunate enough to have passed the CPS Principals' Exam. She was an enthusiastic and talented educator, and the children of Pullman School greatly benefitted from her term as their Principal. What a shame that she will not be here to enjoy her truly deserved retirement. Please accept my condolences.
