It was a privilege to be part of the gathering today. It was truly inspirational and a wonderful testament and celebration for Kathy, her life, and the love and respect that so many people have for her and the Choate and Campbell families.

It is rare indeed to find a family that has touched the lives of so many people is such a positive way. We are blessed to be witness to this amazing gift.

Kathy and the entire Choate and Campbell families have a tremendous sense of family, friendship and loyalty. They are the first to celebrate the joy in life and to provide consolation in times of sorrow. They have set a standard for all of us.

One memory that stands out in my mind is laughter - you couldn't help but smile or laugh along when you heard Kathy laugh.

Kathy is now at peace with our Lord. She will always be in our hearts.

Dear Midge, Michael, Pam, Tom, Judy, Patti, Paul, Amy, Alex, Katie and Aunt Millie – you are in our prayers today and always.

Love,

Dotty & Kyle Dunlap

I am deeply saddened by the news of Kathy's passing. It is such a shock and I can only try to imagine how devestating it is for all of you.

Kathy was a very special, loving, and selfless spirit. I will always remember the time when I was a poor college student with a 9 month old, and couldn't afford to come home for Thanksgiving... Kathy offered without hesitation, to drive to Carbondale (a 6 hour drive - each way!) and bring us back to Chicago so that we could be with family for the holiday! I've never known another person with such a generous heart.

Kathy was truly an angel... an now she has her wings.

To the Choate and Campbell Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your sister Kathy was always very sweet to me and my family. She was a huge supporter for the North Aurora Mother's Club Operation Christmas Program. She made sure those kids had presents on Christmas morning. I am a friend of Patti's. We worked together at the Daycare years ago. Of all our chats together, one word comes to mind....family. You have all stuck by each other over the years and helped each other out. May God watch over you and help you through this very difficult time.

Sincerely,

Cheyl Altner
