Since I can remember Uncle Karl has always been there for my family. I have great memories as a kid sleeping over at Aunt Marce and Uncle Karl's. Watching Football on New Years Day at the Leberts. Listening to my Dad and Uncle Karl "discussing" the events of the world as best friends do. When things were tough at home I could always talk to him. He was generous, kind and pretty funny too! The Leberts were my second family as a kid. I bet Uncle Karl and Edie are having a beer and a laugh right now. Thanks Uncle Karl

I will always remember Uncle Karl's great sense of humor and spirit. I knew if there was a party at the Lebert's it would be fun! I know he will be sorely missed among his family and friends, not to mention the Bears. You will be with me always in photographs and memories.

Uncle Karl was one of a kind! He was such an important part of my parents, my brother and my life from earliest memories to the most recent present. He had conviction in what he believed and didn't hold back those thoughts! He was an honest, fun and caring man that always took time for us in so many different ways throughout the years. He will be missed and always thought of with love.

Karl may have left us, but our memories of him will never leave us. And there are a few of those. Karl never missed an opportunity to take charge. I will always remember the man who invented Picture ON Picture as he stacked TV's on top of one another for Bowl games. Apparently a seat opened up at a board meeting in heaven, and you know Karl would never miss a meeting. Fond memories and lots of love to the Lebert family.
