Karen Lolis Obituary

Karen, you have been missed so much and you have missed so much as well. Your little girls are now young women. You have taught and loved them well. You were taken way too soon. Not a day goes by that your Mom and Dad do not think of you. Mike, Bobby, and Linda remain so close to you. Watch over us. We miss you and we love you.

Karen was a beautiful reflection of her parents. She will live on through her daughters and her light will shine through the darkest of nights, showing them the way as her parents showed her. Thank you to her TSA family as well. Your presence thoughout her services rekindled the loyalty that seems so lacking in today's business world. I am so glad she she found you and that she found a second family in you. God bless you all.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Karen. I met Karen years ago when she had her grooming business out of her home. She was such a dog lover and took good care of my dog. Years later, while waiting for a flight at Midway Airport, someone called my name, and it was Karen. She was working as a TSA Agent. The last time I saw her was last year while we were at Animal Care Clinic with our dogs. It was great seeing her and catching up. She was an upbeat, lovely woman and I am so sorry she is gone way to soon.

One memory I have of Karen is the positive energy she always had at 4am, myself & all the younger co-workers always wondered why is she so chipper at this time of morning we never could understand it, but after personally working side by side with her for 3 years I learned why because thats who she is a positive, sweet, & energetic woman who came to work every day with such joy in her heart & a smile on her face & never once complained about it & thats the Karen I know & loved. Karen was a prize fighter of a mother, friend, and woman. The energy and light in her eyes cannot begin to express the passion, enthusiasm, hope and love she had for her treasured daughters. She was and will continue to be a kindred spirit and inspiration to me. God bless sweet girl.

The first time I met her she was telling off a passenger and I was in awe if her. I was young 22 and I said I'm going to be like her. She spoke her mind and if she hurt your
feelings in the process she apologized. I always respected her I loved her smile and her sense of humor. I will always rem lolis is here is what she used to say in roll call, that grew to be a joke between her and everyone. So I know you are up in heaven saying lolis is here with that same smile and energy that you brought to work everyday.

I worked with Karen for a few years at TSA and loved her the moment I met her. Her heart was bigger that her beautiful smile and what a wonderfully strong woman!! She spoke often of "her girls" with great pride! My deepest sympathy to all who have lost Karen...what a gorgeous human being.

Although Karen and I weren't really close....we worked together for 7 years and she will be greatly missed. I always knew when Karen was at work because I could smell her perfume as she walked by. I always admired her scent. I can smell it as I type this message. She is a sweet person and my deepest condolences go out to her family and friends during this trying time in their life.
