June Ziganto Obituary
June Ziganto, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2023. She is survived by her loving children: Mary (Ed) Olson, Deborah (Oscar) Maschke, Thomas (Mindy) Ziganto, James (Cecelia) Ziganto, Joseph (Bernice) Ziganto and Robert (Susan) Ziganto; cherished grandmother of 28; great grandmother of 19; dear sister of Dorothy (Gerry) Miller and John (late Donna) McCallum. June is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by her granddaughter, Anna Louise Olson and brother, Ronny Chiquet. June was a long time manager of Maplewood Lanes Bowling Alley in Chicago. She loved spending time with her family. Especially her adored grand and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W.103 rd St., Oak Lawn, IL) from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Blake-Lamb funeral home. Interment St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. For information call 708-636-1193.

Sorry for the delay.I remember June from our maplewood bowling days.We were Sunday night bowlers mostly from Mt.Greenwood and June would control us idiots from the intercom to keep us bowling and out of the bar.Ten times a night we would here Bobby Lund(my brother)your team is looking for you.She kept us in line every Sunday.Sorry to the boys in the passing of your mom.She was a part of my memories growing up.Mark Lund
