Dear Karen, Lynn and Marcia,

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all how your Mom and Dad have touched our lives over these past 12 years. They were both so special. Having been their neighbors was truly a wonderful experience. They always were so friendly and kind. Your dad would always inspire us with his dedication to not only your mother, but the love and pride that he took in his home and yard. Those were very big shoes to try to follow in. And your mom's baking, what a terrific cook, her holiday treats were delicious. Our neighborhood has certainly changed over these past couple of years, but we could have never asked for more wonderful people to share our block with. I will miss our chats the most. She always took such pride in you girls and your families. You should all find comfort in knowing that you had great parents and they will truly be missed by myself and my family. My children will always remember the wonderful friends we found in your parents. I pray that God will watch over you all during this time and comfort you. God bless and remember our door is always open.

With sympathy and love,

Pam

Dear Marcia, Karen and Lynn - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My mom was visiting me in Conn. this weekend and told me about your mom's hospitalization. She called Audrey on Saturday to see how your mom was doing. I knew from her conversation that the news about your mom was not good. My mom had tears in her eyes after she hung up. She just couldn't believe that your mom would be gone. She told me about some really nice unexpected visits that she had recently with your mom and Audrey. She told me about the wonderful marriage your mom and dad had and how close they were to each other. My mom talked about you girls and your kids, and how lucky your mom was to have you all. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Be sure to love and take care of each other, and may God bless.
