Julie lit up our lives. There is no other way to describe a person who was so dear that the minute she entered the room you knew she was someone you wanted to know. Living in California, made our times together limited but each visit only reinforced what we already knew. Our lives will forever be enriched by just having known Julie.You are missed dearly by our family, we love you forever.Donna, Steve,Seth,Brett amd Allison.

To the Sorkin and Bradford families. We, just like you, lost the brightest star in the universe. Julie's smile and incredible personality will always keep our hearts warm and bright in the days, months and years ahead. She always made everyone around her feel as though they were the most special person. Never asking for anything in return. Our two boys, Jonathan and Robbie always had to be where Julie was or atleast in eyesight. I have never seen so much love for one person as they had for Julie. Julie, your the best and will always be a shining and guiding light for us all. As you look down upon us, we will always be looking up at you and remembering all the joy and happiness you brought to all of us.

Jay, my wife and I send our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I know what a source of pride Julie was to you and your family. Your loss is shared by all of us.

My deepest condolences to the Sorkin family as well as Ben. I went to Wisconsin with Julie, and then also went on to the U of C for graduate school. Julie was one of the kindest, sweetest, happiest people I've ever known. My wish is that she is resting peacefully and that her family knows that Julie touched the lives of so many people, all of whom will miss her deeply.

I met Julie July 4th weekend of 1997 through Ben Bradford, and although we only hung out for a few hours, she left an extremely positive impression on me. I saw her again about a year ago at a friend's wedding, and it was like no time at all had passed - she was the same bright, smiling, caring person I had met years before, and she was the perfect complement to Ben. I send my sincerest condolences to Julie's family and friends - but I am so glad to have been touched by such a wonderful person in such a short amount of time.

Words cannot express our sorrow at your loss. David and Sheryl are like family to us and we share your grief as our own.

Julie was a wonderful, loving, caring and fantastic
pre-school/daycare teacher. My son adored her as did I. He would run in every morning and give her a huge hug as she greeted him. She will be greatly missed by all the children and parents who were privileged to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and fiancee.
