Judith McMahon Obituary

I knew Judy from working at the Oak Lawn Public Library and she was a mentor to me. I am now a librarian myself and I owe this to her. My deepest sympathies to her family.

The season is changing, memories once shared with Judy come forth in the shadows. I pray for all those who encounter this experience. Love does not leave. I try to find peace in the understanding that she is in her Glory. I am so sorry I did not have the opportunity to say Good Bye...

I was lucky enough to enjoy Judy's company while in Tanzania, Africa! Judy was filled with a great enthusiasm for life! She will be missed. My sincere sympathy to all Judy's friends and family!

Judy was both an Old and New Testament woman, who responded to the Gospel message outlined in the Beatitudes and the tradition of the strong Jewish woman who set a table for all, spun the cloth for all, whose oil and welcomings never failed.
