Judith Lamerdin Obituary

Our hearts are broken. We walk our dogs by the house and always talked to Judy for past 6 yrs. She let our pooch in the yard to play. We havent seen her outside in a long time. What a beautiful person inside and out.We will miss her!

I moved away from Skokie over two years ago, and yesterday I heard the news that Judy had passed. I wish to express my great sympathy for her family, of whom she spoke of often and cherished with all her heart. She was not only my neighbor, but my friend. No matter how she was feeling, she always offered to help in anyway she could if she thought I was in need. Her sense of humor was boundless, and I would often hear her wonderful laughter from across the street (inside my house). The adoration of our dogs was definitely our primary commonality. Her yard was known as the "pet park" on our block. She never excluded anyone from joining in, regardless of how she felt about them. Her heart was always open, she had a wealth of compassion, and the world is a better place for her having been in it. My very best to her children...
